Self-responsible teamwork

Agile companies distribute responsibility away from management to individual teams. So the teams take responsibility for their own actions. Management now has an entirely different role, so control and guidance will support employees' support and motivation (Servant Leadership). Decisions are therefore made where the expertise sits. The pyramid turns upside down, the comprehensive platform supported from below is now in demand, on which the teams can work successfully. Clear goals and guidelines replace small-scale planning, enabling a quick response to changes and unexpected events. The team is in control:  it not only monitors work progress, but it also tries to improve continually, to remove obstacles together, and to distribute tasks in a meaningful way. This is successful when all team members know the goals or visions they are working towards. Here, software such as Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Teams is ideal for collaborative work to maintain information flow.
