The user-friendly concept of the QES Quality Execution System enables the systematic introduction of an automatic coil release system for all production lines. QES captures and pools the quality data from various process stages. The software monitors, records, and ensures product and process quality along the whole production chain – from the raw material to the surface-finished final product. A rule-based certification module is used in all process stages to check the extent to which quality standards are being maintained as per the customer's specifications.
The QES data integration supports digital links between different departments, sectors, and supply chains, allowing users to improve cooperation, coordination, and transparency. This enables both horizontal integration, e.g. between processing lines, and vertical integration by making data at field and process level usable for higher levels of control, for example through communication with X-Pact® MES 4.0.
